One of the foremost claims of Manchu Vishnu’s election campaign for MAA President was being a man of action and not mere words. He made statements where he promised to be at the forefront at the time of any crisis in the Tollywood fraternity. However, that seems to be quite far from true.
With more than a month over into his term, the actor and producer hasn’t made a single statement especially in the present times of the Tollywood crisis. The recent decision by the AP government on ticket prices has evoked some or the other kind of reaction from many quarters. And with Manchu Vishnu being the President of the actor’s body, it is even more important for him to take a stand.
The actor had earlier stated that his team will meet Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and discuss various issues affecting Tollywood. The meeting is yet to happen and while that might take time, there hasn’t even been a single statement on the issue or even a Tweet from the MAA President which is quite baffling.
