Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which released on 13th January has received a good response from audience and posted solid numbers on its 1st day and had continued the same on day 2 also by collecting a worldwide share of 44.3Crs for 2 Days. Theatrical rights of this film are valued at 88Crs, and it is likely to recover Theatrical business within its 1st week run.

Meanwhile, Raviteja who has appeared in a crucial role in the film is being ignored by the unit of Waltair Veerayya. It is obvious that Raviteja’s character in flashback and his performance is definitely one of the main reasons for Waltair Veerayya’s blockbuster success.

Before release, the team had used Raviteja in all posters, but after the release the unit was projecting it as a Chiranjeevi’s film. In all the posters after the release day, all posters from the mythri unit are Chiranjeevi’s single posters only.

Raviteja was in a terrible phase until the last December. His movies in 2022 failed miserably at the box office, and his performance too failed to impress the audience in those films.

But everything changed in one month, and now he’s given a solid comeback with getting superb collections and also appreciated for his performance.

With Dhamaka Raviteja delivered huge numbers at the box office, but the film had little scope to perform except him showing energy and dances. But With Waltair veerayya Raviteja gave one of his finest performance.

Chiranjeevi was all praises for Ravi Teja’s work in the film in a recent success meet held by the team. The Megastar said he was moved into tears by the performance and didn’t need glycerine for the scene. Chiranjeevi was talking about the pre-climax scene in which Ravi Teja’s character, Vikram Sagar IPS, dies after getting stabbed by the goons.
