Gopichand‘s Viswam is in front of the audience with director Sreenu Vaitla making a comeback after a long time. Sreenu Vaitla is back with his strong genre and Viswam is a package of comedy and action. The early shows opened with an average word of mouth and ratings from the audiences.
Many felt that while this is not a blockbuster comeback from the director, it’s definitely much better than his last few films which were outright disasters. Comedy in Viswam has worked well along with a few songs and fight scenes adding to the film’s positives.
The main problem with Viswam is a weak storyline and while the entertainment factor and action sequence might save the film, it needs to be seen how the audience reacts to the lack of a strong plot. Overall, it’s an okay watch if the early show’s talk is concerned.
The movie is not carrying strong buzz and we need to see whether this word of mouth is enough to pull the audience to theatres. Dasara weekend might work to the film’s advantage. Adding to it, the film certainly is not carrying a disastrous talk from early shows and this might pull the families to the theatres.
