Vishwak Sen’s upcoming film, Gangs of Godavari is said to be in plans for postponement to avoid clash at the box office as per the latest reports. Gangs of Godavari is a mass entertainer set in a rural backdrop and the film’s first look, glimpse, and a song featuring Neha Shetty have already impressed one and all.

The makers of Gangs of Godavari had earlier announced that the film will be released on December 8th. Nani’s Hi Nanna, Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine, and Nithin’s Extra Ordinary Man are also aiming towards the same weekend release. So, to avoid the clash, the producer of the film, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, is now planning to release the film on December 24th, which is the weekend that Prabhas’ Salaar will be released.

Reportedly, Vamsi is in talks with the distributors and will make a call based on the availability of theaters. Recently, Vamsi came up with a small film MAD that was the sole money spinner during the last weekend’s releases. The Telugu theatrical rights for Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo, which is competing in the Dasara race, were also acquired by him.
