Varisu released today on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Though the news of the OTT giant bagging the film’s digital rights was out earlier, the makers announced the date of the digital premiere only a few days ago.
Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead in the family drama which also stars Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, and Shaam in key roles. The movie’s soundtrack was composed by Thaman which got a good response. Now all eyes are on Amazon Prime Video for the digital debut of Vijay’s Varisu and it needs to be seen how the movie fares on OTTs.
