Pushpa 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema this year. There have been rumors that the movie may be postponed, but Allu Arjun has informed the team and director that the movie must release on August 15th. The team is working with two units to meet the deadline, aiming to finish the entire shoot by June. Post production works and promotions will simultaneously happen like pushpa part one.

Vijay’s current film, GOAT, a time-traveling thriller, is planned for a June-end release. Now, the team is planning to release the film on August 15th. Vijay is definitely a huge star, capable of attracting audiences even when there are big, highly anticipated films. His film, Beast, released alongside KGF2 and despite outright disaster, the Tamil version has grossed more than 200 crore worldwide , with collections exceeding 100 crore in Tamil Nadu alone. It also opened well in Telugu states. Even if Pushpa 2 releases on August 15th, if Vijay receives positive word-of-mouth for GOAT, he can deliver big numbers, undoubtedly in Tamil, with his super stardom. In Telugu, too, he can post good numbers.

Pushpa 2 will definitely not be affected by any other release; it can draw audiences to theaters like KGF2, despite any competition. So, competition is likely to occur if both films stick to their release dates. Allu Arjun has officially announced that Pushpa 3 is in the cards. It won’t happen immediately, but it will definitely happen.
