The release date of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas has been rescheduled. January 12th, next year, marks the release of the film in theaters. It was postponed to avoid a clash with other films. The release date and a new poster featuring Katrina and Vijay were revealed. The picture depicts Katrina sitting in a restaurant while Vijay watches her from another table.
Merry Christmas is directed by Sriram Raghavan of Andhadhun fame. The Merry Christmas team’s joint statement shows their deep love for the project and their unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional cinematic experience.
The official statement from the makers read: “We have made this film with a lot of love & passion like every filmmaker does however , with the back to back movie releases and the packed last two months of 2023, we have taken the decision to extend the season of joy and bring our film to the theaters on 12th January 2024”.
The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and it’s said to be a thriller genre film.
