During the success meet of Kushi, Vijay promised that he would donate Rs 1 crore towards the benefit of 100 families and help them out in distress. The actor has stood by his words and has now donated the amount as promised. He took to social media and shared the confirmation of this donation to 100 families.
On September 5th Vijay had requested fans and followers to apply for this amount through a link he shared. Based on the entries, 100 families were shortlisted whose names were shared on social media.
