We know Vijay had formerly worked with Mythri Movie Makers for Dear Comrade, which was released in 2019. However, the inside reports suggest that before that film they offered him another film from the production house.
Mythri Movies first planned to make Amigos with Vijay Devarakonda but the Arjun Reddy star was more interested in the script of Dear Comrade. Hence he said no to this project. So, the makers continued on as per his wish.
The script of Amigos went to another few Heroes, but it was liked by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and he said okay to this project. The film’s trailer has created a positive buzz on the film and it is releasing on February 10th.
Amigos is directed by Rajendra Reddy and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Kannada Heroine Ashika Ranganath makes her debut in the Telugu Film Industry. Ghibran has composed music for this film.
