Today is the biggest day for the Tamil cinema audience as two big superstars Ajith Kumar and Vijay have released their films Thunivu and Varisu on the same day. Lets look at the first day first show reports of these movies.
Thunivu movie’s first half has received decent reports, but the second half is said to be flat, and the climax is also very disappointing. An excellent action block is the saving grace of the film. Overall, the film is carrying average reports from the early shows, and it can be enjoyed by Ajith fans.
Varisu has got reports it has a slow start in the first half, but the narration picked up strongly towards the interval. The second half had a few scenes which worked really well.
According to the reviews, Director Vamsi Paidipally has handled emotions and comedy elements effectively. The film is carrying above average to decent reports overall.
Thalapathy Vijay has massive fan base and with the advantage of festival release he can score big blockbuster if the talk comes good for Varisu. Whereas Ajith’s Thunivu is a one-sided film which would require a strong word of mouth to compete with Varisu.
Let’s watch out who wins the battle between these two Tamil superstars. As far as the early shows talk, Varisu appears to have the lead over Thunivu.
