Allari Naresh’s Ugram is all set to release tomorrow and the unit is trying their best to come up with unique promotional ideas for the film. The action thriller has already created good curiosity amongst the audience due to Allari Naresh’s surprisingly violent characterization. Adding to this, several Tollywood young heroes like Nikhil, Adivi Sesh, Vishwak Sen, etc have joined in promoting the film leading to positive reactions from the audience.
The makers of Ugram have decided to slash the movie ticket prices in multiplexes and single screens across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This move is expected to benefit the film and if Ugram receives strong word of mouth then it would definitely be unstoppable due to the low rates.
Interestingly, Suhas’ Writer Padmabhushan also took the same route earlier this year. The film went on to become a box office success and was able to draw great crowds due to low ticket rates.
At a time when big movies are opting for government permissions for ticket rate hikes, the smaller films are doing the exact opposite and cashing in on the audience’s love. Ugram makers are hoping that the same result repeats here as well. Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, the film also stars Mirna Menon in lead opposite Allari Naresh.
