Tollywood is not rightfully honoring Allu Arjun, Rajamouli, and National Award winners. When the Telugu Film Industry saw a flurry of awards at the 69th National Awards with the likes of Pushpa and RRR, everyone thought there would be a big event or a felicitation kind ceremony for Allu Arjun, Rajamaouli, Devi Sri Prasad, Chandrabose, and other National Award winners. However, shockingly, Tollywood is not rightfully honoring Allu Arjun, Rajamouli, and National Award winners.

This year was a memorable year for Tollywood as Tollywood won many national awards, which had not happened before. For the first time, a Tollywood hero, Allu Arjun, got a national award, and Rajamouli’s RRR won many national awards. Few others won the national awards. Everyone expected that the Producer Council would put on a big event to honor the national award winners, but they still have not done so. The announcement of the National Awards happened long ago, and yesterday, the award winners had received the awards, but still, TFI did not rightly honor the winners.

Yesterday, the 69th National Film Awards ceremony occurred at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards… The winners of the National Awards for the year 2021, announced in August, include Allu Arjun (Best Actor), Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon (Best Actress), and the teams of the films RRR, Sardar Udham, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and The Kashmir Files, all of which won more than one award. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won Best Feature Film. Waheeda Rehman, a legendary actress, was awarded the DadaSaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest honor in the film industry.

Allu Arjun, who received the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise, said on the red carpet that winning for a commercial film was a “double achievement.” Allu Arjun, one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars, played the titular character in Pushpa: The Rise and will reprise the role in the sequel, Pushpa: The Rule.

National Award-winners Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, R. Madhavan, Karan Johar, and Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta flew out of Mumbai ahead of the ceremony. Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli, and MM Keeravaani were spotted at Delhi airport on Monday.
