This evening, it was reported that Salaar’s release in South Indian Multiplexes like PVR, Inox, and Miraj Cinemas in southern states is on hold. The reason is said to be the politics or dealings of the Dunki team with the plex owners. So, this led to a discussion and argument of North vs South, and Prabhas fans want the others to support them. But to be transparent, Tollywood doesn’t need to support Salaar makers on Dunki Politics.
Tollywood does not need to unite to support Salaar Movie. Due to Salaar’s inconsistent planning, many movies have faced the consequences. It is widely known that the pan-Indian film Salaar was set to be released on September 28th but was postponed at the last minute and later scheduled for a December 22nd release. Recent releases suffered losses of crores because of Salaar’s change in release date. Salaar makers should take responsibility for their bold and daring decision to compete with a big Bollywood film.
Bollywood Trade argues that Dunki announced the release date first, and Salaar announced later, so they decided on the competitive release. Salaar will be prioritized in southern markets with maximum screens, so why can’t we do the same? This is a valid argument, and Tollywood doesn’t need to support Salaar makers on Dunki Politics as they face issues because of their own mistakes.
