A few days back, Geetha Arts announced it that the Tollywood industry hit Magadheera will be up for re-release on March 27th on the occasion of Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s birthday. This news came as a sudden surprise for fans. However, the Charan fans are now in for disappointed news at this moment.
Geetha Arts took to their tweet today and posted, “We inform you that the Sensational Industry Hit #Magadheera Re-Release got cancelled due to technical reasons. We wanted to bring you visual extravaganza on MEGA POWERSTAR @AlwaysRamCharan Birthday! Hopefully we will bring it soon on right occasion!”
Magadheera, an SS Rajamouli directorial, was the most expensive Telugu film at the time, became the highest-grossing Telugu film in history during its release.
Produced by Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts, the movie starred Srihari, Kajal Aggarwal and Dev Gill in key roles. MM Keeravani composed the music, while the cinematography was handled by KK Senthil Kumar. It should be noted that Magadheera won several awards at the 57th National Film Awards and won six Filmfare Awards, as well as nine state Nandi Awards.
