The Paradise is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on September 24, 2026, with paid premiere shows scheduled across India and overseas on the night of September 23. The film, which has remained on track for its announced release date despite recent postponement rumours, is now entering the final stretch ahead of its much-awaited theatrical arrival. With premiere bookings opening in overseas markets, anticipation is building rapidly for Nani and director Srikanth Odela’s ambitious action drama.
Odela’s Dystopian World
Set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows Jadal (Nani), a man from a marginalised community who rises as a leader and leads his people in a fight for identity, dignity and their rightful place in society. Kayadu Lohar plays Subbu, Jadal’s female counterpart, while Sampoornesh Babu plays Biryani, his close friend. On the other side of the conflict are Mohan Babu as Shikanja Maalik and Raghav Juyal as Vikram Maalik, whose clash with Jadal drives the film’s larger uprising. Despite its intense action and revolutionary backdrop, Srikanth Odela has described the film at its heart as an emotional mother-son story.
Nani’s Biggest Bet
Meanwhile, The Paradise is arriving with Nani’s biggest-ever pre-release theatrical business. According to trade figures reported by TrackTollywood, the Telugu version has done ₹75.7 crore in the Telugu states, with Karnataka contributing ₹6.5 crore, the rest of India ₹3.5 crore and overseas ₹18 crore, taking the worldwide theatrical business to ₹103.7 crore. The scale of the business, coupled with the buzz surrounding Nani’s reunion with Dasara director Srikanth Odela, has created considerable pre-release excitement, with the film now carrying one of the biggest theatrical expectations of Nani’s career.
