It is widely known that Icon Star Allu Arjun had received the National Award for Pushpa The Rise. Along with Allu Arjun, this year Tollywood had many National Awards but him getting the best actor award was so special. Because this is the 1st time in Telugu Cinema History that a Telugu actor won a National Award. Now the latest news is that the date of Allu Arjun receiving his National Award for Pushpa is confirmed.
Reportedly the event is confirmed on 17th October and it will be held in Delhi. It is definitely the biggest moment not for Allu Arjun but even other award winners and entire Tollywood as well.
Icon Star Allu Arjun created history by winning the National Award in the best actor category for his impeccable performance in the film, Pushpa The Rise (2021). He is the first actor from the Telugu film industry to win the best actor award, and that too for an A rated movie.
While Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for his blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise. Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad won Best Director and Best Music Director respectively as well. The 69th National Awards were announced on August 24, 2023.
