Telugu cinema industry will be closed on tomorrow for Superstar Krishna’s demise

Paying respects to superstar of Telugu cinema, Ghattamaneni Krishna, Telugu film industry has given one day as holiday. Telugu film industry employees’ federation has given official statement regarding the same.

Superstar Krishna is one of the legends of Telugu film industry. With his daring and dashing attitude, he had introduced various new trends in the industry. His introduction of novel technologies like 70 mm, cinema scope etc. made him a pioneer of Telugu cinema. He was a successful director and producer as well.

As a token of respect, Tollywood has decided to halt film shootings for a day tomorrow.

Controversies were evoked by celebrities when Krishnam Raju’s demise wasn’t declared a holiday. Ram gopal varma also criticized Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna for not observing a holiday for their movies.

However, stars paid their tributes to Rebel star from sets. Avoiding such issues, it’s a good step from the industry to pay respect to a legend like Superstar Krishna

The final rites of Superstar Krishna are starting today and will be concluded tomorrow. The mortal remains will be kept for VIP viewing at Krishna’s house in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad from 2 PM to 5 PM today.

The mortal remains will then be shifted to Gachibowli Stadium for public viewing from 5 PM today to 3 PM tomorrow. Large crowds are expected to pay their final respects to the beloved actor for one last time there.

Then the final rites will begin tomorrow evening. The cremation will take place at Mahaprasthanam later in the day tomorrow.
