Sometimes, there is that one movie that releases with minimal expectations but becomes a thundering success upon release. One such example in recent times has to be Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha. The film promised a thrilling ride with the trailer and it delivered upon that promise.
The film received a unanimous positive response from the Telugu audiences. Virupaksha is currently still running strong in the Telugu markets and has crossed the 40 crore share mark already, which is the highest for Sai Dharam Tej.
Owing to this fantastic response to the film, the makers have now decided to release the film in other languages as well. We have previously seen this work with movies like Karthikeya 2 and Kantara, which, coincidentally are somewhat similar to Virupaksha in style and treatment.
Virupaksha is releasing in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam tomorrow in theatres. The movie team has also been busy promoting the film this past week. The movie was recently screened to the Tamil media and critics and has received a positive response. The reports are also good.
The film will also benefit from Samyuktha Menon’s presence in the film as she is familiar to Tamil audiences. It is to be seen whether Virupaksha can attain the same level of success in other languages as well.
