But the producers had postponed it as they were not satisfied with the 4k Output. After working on the remastered print, the film is releasing on March 4th, 2023. However, the response to the film’s re-release is not so good.
Even after the biggest blockbuster like Waltair Veerayya the fans of Megastar seem not interested in re-release of this film as the advance bookings are disastrous, which is very surprising. We have to see how the counter bookings will work for Gang Leader.
The film Gang Leader was released on May 9, 1991, directed by Vijaya Bapinidu and not only the film became a massive success at the box office, but it was also a milestone film in his brief career. In this movie Chiranjeevi and Vijayashanthi acted as the lead pair, Murali Mohan, Rao Gopala Rao, Kaikala Satyanaarayana, Allu Ramalingaiah, Nirmalamma, Anandraj, Maganti Murali Mohan, Sarath Kumar, Sumalatha, Sudha, Narayana Rao and Hari Prasad acted in other roles.
