Suriya is a well-known actor in Tamil cinema, and his work has earned him recognition in all industries. We know his stardom and fame in Telugu, but his Singham franchise is also popular in Hindi, while for the film, Soorarai Pottru Suriya has won a national award for his acting. He is presently shooting for the Siruthai Siva directorial Kanguva, which will see a Pan India release in Summer 2024.
And now, the latest reports almost confirm that Suriya is all set to make his Hindi debut with renowned director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and if the inside reports are to be believed, the Bollywood debut film if Suriya, Karna is being planned with a massive budget of 500Cr.
The Film’s shooting will start in July 2024 and it will be shot in huge sets and Outdoor Locations as well. Currently the other artists selection and the film design works are happening. Director Rakeysh Omprakash and DOP of the film Ravi Varma went for a location hunt in Kashmir and Ladakh as per the reports and the film’s script has been written by famous Writer Anand Neelakandan After Suriya completes his shooting part for Sudha Kongara and Vaadi Vaasal Projects, the shoot of Karna will commence from July 2024.
This film is confirmed to be made in Two parts. Karna will be a big pan-India release in multiple languages and the team is looking to get actors from all industries in the Indian Cinema. An idea of Rakeysh’s vision to round up the film is already in place, and it is a matter of implementing the same thing is due now. According to the inside reports, many talks have taken place between Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Suriya and the latter believes that it is the right subject for him to make his debut in Hindi.
