Suriya gives a big shock to Kamal Haasan. The release dates of both the films have reportedly clashed. It is widely known that Kamal Haasan is working on Indian 2 with Shankar. Meanwhile, Suriya is also coming up with a pan-Indian film, Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva. Recently, there have been rumors that the film Indian 2 will be released in April 2024. Suriya gives Kamal Haasan a big shock regarding the film’s release.
Indian 2 is divided into two parts. The first part was planned for the April 11th release, and the 2nd part, Indian 3, was scheduled for the Diwali release. But the team made the costliest mistake by not announcing the official date in the teaser of Indian 2.
Reportedly, Kanguva makers decided to come on 11th April 2024, and an official announcement is expected very soon. The fans of Suriya were pressuring the makers to announce the film’s release date, and they will be happy to hear this news.
Now we need to see how the Indian 2 team will react. Whether they come on the same date or prepone/postpone the release by a week or two will be revealed after a few days.
If they prepone the release, they will have to clash with NTR’s Devara, already announced for the 5th of April release. As per holidays, the 5th and 11th of April are the best release dates next summer for a biggie.
