After the massive success of Roshan Meka’s debut film, Pelli SandaD, the actor is in huge demand among leading production houses.
Pelli SandaD is a retelling of K. Raghavendra Rao’s 1996 film titled Pelli SandaD, which starred Roshan’s dad Srikanth.
Despite being a fresh face, Roshan managed to pull audiences into the theatres, making Pelli SandaD a blockbuster. This is a rare feat for a debutant. In recent times, we have seen many films that have been backed by prominent figures in Tollywood fail at the box office.
For instance, Dil Raju’s nephew, Ashish’s debut film Rowdy Boys did not fare well in collections. Similarly, Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla’s film didn’t do that great either.
In view of this, the leading production houses of Tollywood, Vyjayanthi Movies, and Sithara Entertainments have approached Roshan with 2 movies.
Vyjayanthi Movies has produced some blockbusters like Mahanati, and is also producing Prabhas’ Project K.
Sithara Entertainments has produced films like Bheeshma, Jersey, and so on. They are also currently producing Pawan Kalyan’s, Bheemla Nayak.
