Following the latest trend of re-releases, SR NTR’s Adavi Ramudu is all set for re-release in the USA. Nandamuri family and the TDP party members are grandly making SR NTR’s centenary celebrations. Tollywood’s first first-ever film to use Cinema Scope, and a massive blockbuster at the box office, Sr NTR’s Adavi Ramudu will be re released in the USA as a part of centenary celebrations. Adavi Ramudu will be released in 4K on 28th May 2023, across 75 locations in the USA. It is known that 28 May 2023 happens to be Sr NTR’s birth anniversary.

Adavi Ramudu has SR NTR in the lead role along with Jaya Prada and Jaya Sudha as the female leads and is directed by the legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao. The film, which was released in 1977, is still regarded as one of the best movies of Telugu Film Industry, and a yardstick to the commercial cinema formula. The film’s music, which was scored by KV. Mahadevan had many evergreen songs and the film also went on to win the Film fare best film award.
