Skanda worldwide pre business – Highest for Ram Pothineni

It is widely known that the upcoming mass action entertainer, Skanda in the combination of Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu went through some unexpected hiccups before the release. Skanda’s Nizam rights have been bought by Dil Raju for 14Cr. Ceeded rights have been bought by SRR films for 9Cr. Coming to Andhra Pradesh, the makers started with 25Cr ratio but with no recent films results, the buyers in Andhra Pradesh had done some negotiations and the final business of the film in AP is around 20Cr.

So the Total Telugu states business of Skanda stands at 43Cr, and the Overseas rights have been bought for 2.25 Cr. The rest of India rights are valued around 3Cr [Telugu version]. The total worldwide business of Skanda Telugu version is 48.25Cr. The film needs to collect 50Cr+ share to achieve hit status.

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu and starring Ram and Sree Leela in the lead roles, Skanda also stars Srikanth, Gauthami, Saiee Manjarekar among others. SS Thaman has composed the music, while Srinivasaa Chitturi has produced this action entertainer on a massive budget under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. Skanda is set to hit the screens worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
