Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur starrer Sita Ramam has been winning the audience’s hearts all over. The movie was released on 5th August to positive reviews but had average collections on Day 1. However, once the positive word of mouth spread, each subsequent day has been giving better numbers.
After a solid first weekend, the movie had a terrific first week and despite the presence of Bimbisara and Karthikeya 2, it has been holding its ground quite firmly.
Not surprisingly, the film has been doing terrific business in Kerala as well. For 12 Days Kerala’s gross is Rs 6.2 Cr while the Tamil Nadu numbers for the same period are Rs 7.1 crores. The movie is a massive success beyond the Telugu states as well and has emerged as a surprise blockbuster.
The movie has already crossed Rs 50Cr+ gross (All languages) Heading towards the Rs 75Cr mark. Sita Ramam has collected an impressive 25 crores in shares for the Telugu version alone. It has crossed the break-even mark by a mile and is running in heavy profits, making it a huge blockbuster.
Hanu Raghavapudi has directed this period romantic drama while Aswini Dutt has bankrolled it under Vyjayanthi Movies Banner. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, and Tharun Bhascker in key roles.
