Suriya’s Singam is one of the most successful Kollywood franchises. While Singam 1 and Singam 2 were massively successful and got excellent box office collections, Singam 3 didn’t live up to expectations. Now Hari has a point for Singam 4 which was liked by Suriya and the Kollywood star has asked him to work on a complete script. Both are interested in Singam 4 and it will go to sets once script work is completed.
The first installment of the series Singam 1 hit the screens in 2010. It featured Suriya in the role of a cop and Anushka played the female lead. It emerged as a sensational blockbuster. Its sequel was released in 2013 and starred Hansika alongside Suriya and Anushka. Singam 2 too did well at the box office.
The franchise’s third installment, titled Si 3, made its way to theatres in 2017 and featured Shruti Haasan. This film received mixed reviews and decent collections but wasn’t as big a hit as its predecessors.
