Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s second collaboration Thalapathy 67 has achieved great buzz thanks to the announcement of an extended cast yesterday. The film will star Trisha opposite Vijay and will also featured Action King Arjun, Sanjay Dutt directors Gautham Menon, Mysskin among others.
While everybody was expecting this project to take LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) ahead, here’s a shocker. This movie is said to be a stand-alone film and is on a path to start its own cinematic universe just like Kaithi did. So now Lokesh is planning another universe and Thalapathy 67 is starting part of this universe.
Anirudh Ravichander is roped into score music for Vijay for the fourth time, while Manoj Paramahamsa will handle the camera for Vijay’s film for the third time after ‘Thuppakki’ and ‘Beast’. Thalapathy 67 is slated for a release next year and fans are waiting with great anticipation for what the ‘Master’ duo has in store for them.
After this project, Lokesh will move on to Kaithi 2 with Karthi which will follow the like of Dilli and his origins.
