Shankar’s Indian 2 has seen multiple hurdles during its entire production stage and several times there were reports that the movie will be shelved altogether. However, the entire unit stood strong and ensured that the production progresses. This Kamal Haasan and Kajal Agarwal starter is one of the most awaited pan-India projects considering it will mark the return of the blockbuster Shankra-Kamal combo after ages.
With the roaring success of Vikram, Kamal Haasan is back in form and the makers of Indian 2 have decided to revive the project and get it in front of the audience by early next year. Now, Shankar is simultaneously shooting both Game Changer and Indian 2. Kamal Haasan wants Indian 2 to be his next release and from the looks of it, even Shankar is focussing more on this sequel project.
However, there’s a shocking report that has come ahead and stunned many. The total shooting footage is around 6 hours and still few scenes are pending. The unit is now planning to release it in 2 parts which means Indian 3 is definitely on the cards.
