Dhurandhar 2 Breaks Baahubali 2’s North America Record
The spy action thriller Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, has surpassed the North America record set by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion — which grossed over $20 million in the region after its April 2017 release — within just 10 days. That record had stood unbroken for nearly nine years.
Yarlagadda, who produced Baahubali 2, shared his reaction after watching the film. “Yesterday I watched Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge and needless to say I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed the film,” he said, applauding the team’s achievement.

The congratulations haven’t come from Yarlagadda alone. The official Baahubali social media account also posted its reaction — a gracious acknowledgment from one record-holder to the next.
