There’s an interesting update on the music of NTR and Prashanth Neel’s Dragon. Shashwat Sachdev, the composer behind the Dhurandhar albums, is reportedly on board to compose a few songs for the film.
The Dhurandhar Sensation
Shashwat Sachdev became one of the hottest names in Indian film music with his work on Dhurandhar. The film’s songs and background score were huge hits, and his music played a big part in the franchise’s massive success.
Bringing him into Dragon adds a fresh, pan-India flavour to the film’s music.
Ravi Basrur Continues
Prashanth Neel’s regular composer, Ravi Basrur, isn’t going anywhere. He continues to be a key part of Dragon, composing songs for the film and also handling the background score.
Shashwat Sachdev has been brought in as an addition, to compose a few of the songs. So rather than replacing anyone, the makers are adding another big name to strengthen the album.
The Neel and Basrur Partnership
Prashanth Neel has always worked with Ravi Basrur, whose music and background scores defined the KGF films and Salaar. Their partnership is one of the strongest director and composer combinations in Indian cinema, and fans will be relieved to know it continues with Dragon.
Basrur’s background scores have been one of the biggest strengths of Neel’s films, with his elevation music for Rocky Bhai and Deva becoming iconic. Fans can expect the same intensity in Dragon.
Best of Both Worlds
With Ravi Basrur’s signature mass scoring and Shashwat Sachdev’s chart-topping songs, Dragon’s music could end up being one of its biggest highlights. It’s a smart move for a film aiming at audiences across India.
A Massive Film for NTR
Dragon is one of the most anticipated Indian films. It brings together NTR and Prashanth Neel for the first time, and the film is being made on a huge scale, with talk that it could even be made in two parts.
With Neel set to return to Salaar 2 after Dragon, this is the film every Neel and NTR fan is waiting for.
