Jawan has now become the highest grosser for Bollywood cinema in South India as with today the movie has crossed 150Cr gross in South India. It is the 1st ever Bollywood film to collect 150Cr gross in south India. It will not be an exaggeration to say that Director Atlee’s brand worked well in the South market to create this benchmark along with the super stardom and recent form of SRK.
The emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in society is the focus of Jawan, a high-octane action entertainer written by Atlee. Shah Rukh Khan plays the dual role of Vikram Rathore and his son Azad in this story, which highlights social and political issues. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi played the major roles in the film. In special cameo roles, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt are also present.
