Raj Kamal Films International have surprised Kamal Haasan fans by announcing that they will re-release the iconic and classic movie of their favorite hero. Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan’s Nayakan, the renowned and most respected film, is set to make a comeback to the big screen.
The grand re-release of the epic noir film Nayakan (Nayakudu) will take place on November 3, 2023, in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala, as announced by ATM Productions as a birthday special for Kamal Haasan. The makers have not confirmed a Telugu release, however.
The exciting aspect is that Nayakan will be presented in a stunning 4K version with Dolby Atmos sound, which promises an immersive cinematic experience to the fans and movie lovers.
Directed by Maniratnam, the film Nayakan stands as one of the best ever films produced in Indian Cinema. The film had camera work by PC Sreeram and enriched with the musical brilliance of Ilaiyaraaja. Let’s wait and watch how it will be the response to this classic film’s re-release.
