Samantha’s next movie is in association with the leading lady of Bollywood-Taapsee Pannu. In a recent interview, Taapsee Pannu and Samantha said that they will be collaborating on a project soon.

She has recently finished shooting for the fantasy drama with director Gunasekhar titled Shakuntalam. Samantha will play Shakuntala in the film. Aditi Balan and Dev Mohan also star in the movie.
She has recently begun shooting for the film Yashoda. The duo of Hari and Harish will be directing the film.
Samantha will also be making her international film with Arrangements of Love, directed by BAFTA-winning director John Philip.
