Samantha’s brand works big for Yashoda, Excellent business for the film

Samantha’s Yashoda is nearing its release and will hit the screens on 11th November. The film’s trailer which was released recently received a terrific response and the audience praised the film’s concept and Samantha’s portrayal of a pregnant woman embroiled in the surrogacy mafia.

Yashoda is Samantha’s comeback to a full-length role in Telugu after Jaanu which was released in 2020. While the actress has won accolades for her special song in Pushpa and was seen in Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal recently, Samantha’s fans will finally be extremely happy with her in a full-length Telugu role after 2 years.

There are high expectations on the project and the movie is set to release in all languages. Only Telugu states rights are bought for 10Cr and worldwide pre-release business will be more than 15Cr. This is a huge number considering the genre of the film and Yashoda being a female-centric film. Samantha’s brand has worked big time for the producers

Hareesh Narayan and Hari Shankar have directed Samantha’s Yashoda which also stars Unni Mukundan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, and Murali Sharma in key roles. Sridevi Movies have bankrolled this project which has been simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil.
