While the Prabhas fans are in severe disappointment because of the postponement of the Pan Indian film of Prabhas, Salaar, the film is still creating records through its theatrical and non-theatrical business. Salaar has done a record business for a Telugu film after RRR in North America.
RRR movie’s rights were sold at 40Cr in North America, which was a record and now Salaar movie’s rights are sold at 36Cr which makes the 2nd biggest business after RRR. The film should collect 10M$ in North America to achieve the break even mark including P&P Costs.
Even Salaar’s Satellite (Star TV) + Digital (Netflix – for Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages) + Audio Rights are also sold for a whopping 350 crores which is a record-breaking number. At least this kind of news will bring some smiles on the faces of the fans who are presently in a sad mood. Recently, Hombale films, the producers of the film, Salaar, officially announced that the new release date will be announced soon.
Salaar is directed by KGF Series maker Prashanth Neel film. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the film.
