The Christmas holidays have worked so well for the film, especially in North America. The film has crossed the 7 Million mark in North America, and by today the collections will be around 7.2M. From the Middle East the movie has grossed around 2.3M. So just from these two territories, only the movie did 10M.
Salaar – First 100 Cr Grosser Overseas except Rajamouli Films
From Australia, and Newzealand Salaar has collected $900K, and from Singapore, Malaysia the movie has collected around $300K. The collections in Europe Countries will be around $800K and the rest of the world will be around $600K. Total Overseas gross will around 12.6M and that would take the Gross to 104 Cr.
Salaar has become the first Non Rajamouli film from Tollywood to join this club. The movie now should aim for a big weekend to achieve the breakeven status for valued business, which is around 18M including P&P costs.
Salaar Cast and Crew
The film stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles and is directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. Earlier, it was reported that Salaar will be made in two parts. The first is titled ‘Salar- Ceasefire,’ and the second is ‘Salaar – Shauryanga Parvam.’
Prabhas played the character of Deva/ Salaar, while Prithviraj Sukumaran was seen as Varada Raja Mannar, Jagapathi Babu as Rajamannar and Shruti Haasan as Aadhya. Salaar Part One was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and many other languages.
