RRR Movie Japan 1st Week Footfalls And Collections

SS Rajamouli’s much-loved RRR was recently released in Japan and the reception has been underwhelming. The film has failed to get a jump after a decent opening day and the weekday collections are also on the lower side.

RRR has gotten 60K admits approx in the 1st week and collected a gross of close to 5 crores. While this is a very impressive number for sure, it is not up to Rajamouli’s level. His previous film Baahubli did much better than RRR in Japan.

At the time of RRR’s release, everyone expected that it will easily break Rajinikanth’s Muthu collections but the current collections are nowhere close to that and Muthu stands undefeated even after so many years and remains the number 1 Indian grosser in Japan with 20+ crore collections.

The film will enter the top 5 list in Japan but will fall short of both Bahubali and Muthu. It has to be seen whether it will beat Saaho or not.

The team of RRR is also looking to release the film in China and the promotions for the same will start very soon. The plan is to release the film in as many interaction markets as possible to attract attention to the film in time for the Oscars.
