Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty is reportedly looking for opportunities in Tollywood. The actress who was caught in a storm of controversy last year following the death of her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been absent from movies for quite some time.
She is now gearing up for her upcoming release ‘Chehre’ directed by Rumi Jafery. The makers have excluded her from most of the promotional activities fearing further backlash. Rhea’s role in Sushant’s death was under great scanner last year. She was even questioned by Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) in September and was later granted bail.
Amidst all these legal issues and pressure from the fans of Sushant Singh, Bollywood filmmakers are apprehensive of casting Rhea. This is why she has turned her head towards Tollywood now. She was spotted at Mumbai airport leaving to Hyderabad and was spotted in the city. She reportedly had a few meetings over future projects in Hyderabad.
Incidentally, Rhea made her film debut with 2012 Sumanth Ashwin starrer Tuneega Tuneega. Post this, she did not worked in any Telugu movie. She later went on to act in a handful of Bollywood films before Sushant Singh’s controversy erupted.
