Mohanlal’s L2 : Emupraan is the biggest budget film from Mollywood and was announced for 27th March release. However, the makers of this highly awaited sequel haave not started any promotions and the reason is said to be financial issues.
The movie is being produced by two production companies- Aashirwad Cinemas and Lyca Productions. Even the film’s non theatrical business has not been closed for now.
To add to these hurdles there are some ongoing reports of differences between two production companies Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca. Lyca reportedly was ready to walk out of the project due to terms issues and they demanded invested amount with interests. Aashirwad Cinemas is yet to take the decision on the same.
With all these hurdles, releasing L2 : Empuraan on planned date seems tough. All these issues needs to be cleared within this week and the team needs to start aggressive promotions to make release smoother. if the issue takes more time for resolution takes, then movie it may get postponed as well.
