The wait is finally over for Vijay Deverakonda’s fans as the Ranabaali trailer dropped today. The trailer has turned out to be the film’s best promotional content yet, and fans have immensely liked what they’ve seen.
Earlier, director Rahul Sankrityan pointed out that the story takes place in a world where the characters know very little about what exists beyond their surroundings. He mentions that the people in the film are unaware of how large the country actually is. They think Madras marks the edge of the world and view their small village as if it were a whole nation.
Ranabaali Trailer Highlights
The Ranabaali trailer shows that the movie unfolds in the Anantapur region, portraying the local rebel leader Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali and his fight against British atrocities. The ruthless British Generals force India into a devastating famine by seizing food grains from the Madras Presidency. They go as far as killing innocent infants without hesitation.
Ranabaali’s birth stands as a blessing to the people, who are certain he came into the world to achieve a great purpose. Vijay Deverakonda looks terrific and delivers a superb impact with his solid dialogue delivery. The teaser released last month had already set high expectations for this period action drama.
The film is set to hit theaters on October 16, 2026. Ranabaali is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, who previously made Shyam Singha Roy. The music for the movie has been created by Ajay-Atul.
