In Andhra Pradesh, the average ticket price (ATP) for Ramayana’s opening day is just ₹199. That’s the lowest among all states in the country.

To put it in perspective, the national average ticket price for the film stands at around ₹457. A ticket in Andhra Pradesh costs less than half of that.

Telangana Also Among the Lowest

Telangana isn’t far behind. The state’s average ticket price is ₹281, which puts it among the lowest in the country and third-lowest among the major markets, after Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu (₹230).

Delhi and Maharashtra Way Higher

Compare that with the north and west. Delhi has the highest average ticket price at ₹791, nearly four times what audiences are paying in Andhra Pradesh.

  • Uttar Pradesh: ₹483

Cheap Tickets, Strong Demand

Low prices haven’t meant low interest. Telangana has already sold over 57,000 tickets for the opening day, the third-highest in the country after Karnataka and Maharashtra.

The state also has an occupancy of 28.2%, the highest among all the major markets. That shows Telugu States audiences are turning up in good numbers for Ramayana.

Why Prices Are Lower

Ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are regulated by the state governments, and price hikes are given only for select big films. Ramayana is currently selling at these regular rates in the Telugu states, which keeps the average much lower than in markets like Delhi and Maharashtra, where multiplexes set their own prices.
