Re-releases are a great way to cherish our heroes’ older films and enjoy them theatrically. In recent times, we have witnessed several re-releases such as Pokiri, Okkadu, Kushi, Jalsa, Narasimha Naidu, Billa, Gharana Mogudu, and many others. And now, Ram Charan’s Orange is also gearing up for its re-release but it has raised several questions.
If we take any special shows whether it’s from Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas, or Balakrishna, the stars or fans have never requested anything or anyone for re-release. The re-releases funds were mostly donated to special causes. And if you take Pawan Kalyan’s re-releases into account, he has also not gone for an emotional angle or appealed to the fans to watch his re-release. The film’s were screened with Movie units and fan support and later the amount was donated to Janasena.
Now for Ram Charan’s Orange, fans and Naga Babu are continuously appealing emotionally that it is for a great cause. Naga Babu and show organizers are literally pleading for Pawan Kalyan fans’ support and are using Janasena’s name for this.
This cause to support Janasena might be a noble one but this reflects poorly on Ram Charan’s brand. It appears that many are doubting Ram Charan’s pull even after RRR. If they believed in his pull, they need not do any emotional publicity like this. The organizers can simply release the film after that they can donate to Janasena’s cause.
