Superstar Rajinikanth has just the new Kollywood industry hit in the form of Jailer. The Nelson Dileepkumar film got the audience a feel and look of vintage Rajini and the film managed to set the box office on fire. Meanwhile, he has completed filming for his extended cameo in his daughter Aishwarya’s ‘Lal Salaam’.
After Lal Salaam, he will be seen in ‘Thalaivar 170’ under TJ Gnanavel’s direction. The shooting for Thalaivar 170 will commence very soon in a grand set erected in Chennai. Amitabh Bachchan is said to play the antagonist in the upcoming film. Lyca Productions is bankrolling this project and the excitement is very high in the audience about the cast.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, the film also stars Fahad Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Rana in important roles. Rana, and some other big stars. The official announcement will be made tomorrow. The title is speculated to be ‘Vettaiyan’ and the story focuses on a retired cop who opposes encounter culture.
If these reports hold true, these two legendary actors will reunite on-screen after a gap of 32 years. The two legends of the Indian film industry were last seen in Mulkul Anand’s 1991 Bollywood action film ‘Hum’.
