Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in the movie Jailer. Nelson is the director of the film, which will be released on worldwide screens on August 10th. The movie posts terrific advance bookings and looking at the hype around the film of Rajinikanth, Jailer, it is almost certain that the film is all set for a big opening in both Tamil and Telugu languages.
In the USA the movie posts terrific advance booking with more than 800K$. In Telugu states, the bookings crossed 2.5 Crores 11 Crores in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka will be around 7 Crores, Kerala around 1.5 Crores. Even in the UK, UAE, Australia, Rajinikanth’s film has super strong bookings and the movie is all set to open with terrific numbers at the box office. For sure, it will be the biggest opening for Tamil Cinema in this year.
Nelson Dilipkumar has written and directed Jailer, which is touted as a full-fledged action entertainer with a pinch of humor. The film features Rajinikanth in the lead role. The supporting cast includes Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, and Vinayakan. Mohanlal, who appears in a guest role, has turned retro for his character in Jailer. Kannada Chakravarthy Shiva Rajkumar will also make a cameo in the movie.
Jailer, produced by Sun Pictures on a massive budget, has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan and editor R Nirmal are part of the technical crew.
