Prabhas’ Salaar is expected to smash some box-office records considering the kind of hype it has created so far. The film’s pre-release business and the massive demand for it domestically as well as in overseas is a testament to its crazy demand. With the level of interest in the trade circles, it appears like Salaar will cross RRR in several areas.
In fact, there is one area where Salaar has already surpassed the mighty RRR. This Prashanth Neel project is releasing on 314 Cinemark locations across the USA. The previous highest release is RRR with around 285 theatres. Overall, Salaar is going to get the biggest release for an Indian movie in the USA. It will be released in more than 1979 locations. This is an all-time record in Indian cinema.
Prathyangira Cinemas, who are the US distributors of this action entertainer announced the same on social media. The distributors termed this as a ” Dinosaur roar on the US soil”.
Salaar is in the final stages of shooting and the promotions of this Prashanth Neel film are expected to start in a couple of weeks. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathy Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles.
