It is very well known to everyone that the Telugu Desam Party has held the centenary celebrations of SR NTR on May 20, 2023, at the Kaithalapur Grounds in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The party member’s recently met with NTR and invited him to attend the ceremony. But unfortunately, he could not make it to the event. R Narayana Murthy was one of the guests at the event who made some fiery remarks to the Indian Government for not giving the Bharat Ratna award to SR NTR.
Nandamuri Balakrishna took care of SR NTR’s centenary celebrations. The ceremony was attended by senior actors and film celebrities like Murali Mohan, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Krishnaveni. Young Stars Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Naga Chaitanya, Sumanth, Adivi Sesh, Vishwak Sen and Sidhu Jonnalagadala were also present at the event and spoke on the stage. Along with politicians Chandrababu, Bandaru Dattatreya, Sitaram Yechury, film director and people star R Narayana Murthy were also present as said above.
R Narayana Murthy impressed with his powerful speech on this occasion. He said that in terms of politics, senior NTR is the hero who confronted the times. Murthy stated NTR was a political acumen who proceeded with the times. He mentioned it is heartening to note that Balakrishna is currently carrying forward NTR’s acting legacy. He stated that NTR is called the world-famous actor’s sovereign (Viswa Vikyatha Nata Sarvabhouma) even when the likes of Lord Lawrence Warrier, Stephen Boyk, Thunder Heistain, SB Ranga Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Sivaji Ganesh and Kannada Rajkumar are present because he is an actor who can impress in all kind of roles/getups.
Murthy remembered NTR had also made his mark in politics. In just eight months, he showed the strength of the Telugu people by competing with the national party Congress. R Narayana Murthy expressed his sadness that such a great man not been given Bharat Ratna. Murthy mentioned Indira Gandhi gave Bharat ratna to MBR with political thinking. But NTR is a better person than him. He also said that Chandrababu had questioned about this in the past, and he should have fought with the Central Government at that time. Murthy demanded that Bharat Ratna should still be given to SR NTR because he is worthy of it. At the end of his speech, R Narayana Murthy told that Telangana CM KCR and AP CM JAGAN should also fight on this issue. In the past, even Mega Star Chiranjeevi has also requested that SR NTR should get Bharat Ratna.
