Pushpa: The Rule is one of the most anticipated films of the year; the promotional content released so far, which includes posters and teasers, has been well-received by audiences across the country. Made as a direct sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), the film stars ‘Icon Star’ Allu Arjun in the titular role.

Having said that, a leak from the Bollyood circles has been doing the rounds on social media; according to it, the Hindi theatrical rights of Pushpa-2 have been sold for an earth-shattering INR 200 crore. The company that offered this record price is none other than Anil Thadani’s AA Films, which distributed KGF: Chapter-2 in Hindi.

This is the highest price offered to any Indian film for Hindi theatrical rights; if this rumor turns out to be true, Allu Arjun will have a rare record under his name. Directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Fassil, and Sunil. ‘Rock Star’ Devi Sri Prasad is composing the film’s background score and songs.
