A lot is riding on Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming romantic drama Thank You. The film is crucial for the actor who is looking eagerly for a solid hit. Along with that, director Vikram Kumar and producer Dil Raju have also pinned great hopes on this project. The trio is hoping that this film will be able to pull Tollywood out of the low phase it is in at the moment.
Dil Raju, whose Sri Venkateswara Creations is bankrolling this film, has now taken a big decision. He has decided to not sell the film to any distributor. He will instead go for own release for this film. This means whatever profit or loss the film makes will be solely rest on the shoulders of the ace producer.
Naga Chaitanya will be teaming up with Vikram Kumar for the second time in his career with this film. The actor-director duo is also working together on a web-series Dootha. Rashi Khanna has been roped in to play the lead role in the film. The film also stars Avika Gor, Sai Sushant Reddy, and Malvika Nair in key roles.
Thank You after several postponements is all set to release on 22nd July. The trailer and songs that have been released so far have failed to create much hype for the film. It needs to be seen what kind of openings this movie records.
