The announcement of Prabhas working in Maruthi’s direction shocked everyone last year. Everyone was questioning whether Maruthi, who is known for medium-budget entertainers can capture the mass image and stardom of Prabhas. The project is expected to be shot in a very short period and all arrangements are being made. The pan-India star has already allocated dates of around 50 days for the film tentatively titled Raja Deluxe.
Interestingly, Prabhas will not be taking any remuneration for the project. He is taking the profits in the business. The film is expected to fetch huge profits as the movie budget is less than 100Cr and with Prabhas’ stardom the makers can expect a blockbuster collection if the movie gets good talk.
The pan-India star is currently busy with back-to-back pan-India projects. With films like Salaar, Adipurush, Project K, and Spirit in the pipeline, hundreds of crores are riding on him at the moment.
The film will have Maruthi’s trademark humor and Prabhas has allotted limited dates for this project’s completion. It’s been long since Prabhas has done a comic role. This is why it would be interesting to see how this pans out.
