Producer Anil Sunkara and Uttarandhra distributor Gayatri Satish have an excellent relationship with the latter releasing all of Anil Sunkara’s movies in the Uttarandhra area. Even for Anil Sunkara’s last release Agent, Gayatri Satish bought entire Andhra rights. We all know the result of Akhil’s Agent which ended up being one of the biggest Tollywood disasters.
While failures and success are a part of the Tollywood trade, it looks like some differences have taken place after Agent. Anil Sunkara’s next film is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar. Surprisingly, this film’s Uttarandhra rights have been given to some other distributor for 10.4 Cr without even discussing it with Gayatri Satish. This sudden change of Uttarandhra distributor by Ani Sunkara has surprised many.
Bhola Shankar is a remake of Ajith’s 2015 action entertainer Vedalam. Megastar and Meher Ramesh have changed the original story to suit Telugu nativity. Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film while Tamannaah will play the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi. Sushanth will appear in a major role in the film. Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainment is producing Bhola Shankar together with Creative Commercials.
